VERONA LAUNCHES STRIKING NEW ADDITIONS TO ITS PATTERNED TILE COLLECTION TO CELEBRATE ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY

Published 28th January 2022 / Tiling ranges

Timeless appeal and modern style go hand-in-hand with Mondrian and Vincent, the latest additions to Verona’s Patterned Tile collection. Following ongoing demand for statement walls and floors, the new designs tap into key interior trends dominating the nation’s homes.

Launched as part of Verona’s 20th anniversary celebrations, these porcelain tiles bring surfaces to life, delivering charisma in spades to create a show-stopping space. Vincent and Mondrian both offer three stunning colourways. Charcoal and Grey embrace the movement for cool monochrome tones, while Navy Blue explores one of fashion’s key shades to create a trend-led space.

All colourways come in a 335x335mm square format, are perfect for floors or walls and work in any room in the home, from the kitchen, to the hallway and home office to wet room. For the more adventurous, these tiles can also be used outdoors to transform patio areas into showstopping spaces.

Vincent

A motif with timeless appeal, stars steal the spotlight with Vincent. Featuring a range of subtly different background designs, so the overall look is less uniform and more artisanal – Vincent is perfect for creating a distinctive and characterful space in any home.

Mondrian

Balancing a classic fleur-de-lys design with strong geometric lines, Mondrian opens up the possibilities when it comes to tiling walls and floors working equally well in traditional, retro or modern spaces. Featuring a diagonal, inter-woven line, which runs seamlessly from one tile to the next, Mondrian is a tile that can create an illusion of space, even in the smallest of rooms, transforming a compact cloakroom or ensuite with a continuous look.

Designed by Verona’s own Rosie Preston, part of the inhouse marketing team, both the Mondrian and Vincent designs have been launched as anniversary editions to inspire homeowners to take the plunge and play with pattern in the home.

Rosie Preston, product marketing executive at Verona comments: “As a business we wanted to do something special to mark our anniversary and what better way than to create tile designs here at our head office? I’ve always had a huge love of design and have worked in floors and textiles for a number of years, so I’ve enjoyed every minute of the process and can’t wait to see these tiles brought to life.

New Vincent design from Verona

“Inspired by the night sky, Vincent has a unique star pattern with a slightly worn, vintage feel, reminiscent of old constellation diagrams. I designed it to work beautifully alongside exposed brick and brass accessories, to create a vintage feel.

“Mondrian works well in heritage interiors, to bring an old property up to date without losing character. Perfectly suited to shaker style kitchens, I created this tile to blend well with anything from rustic wood to fresh pastel tones and metallic or matt accents.”

The new designs will be added to the Patterned Tiles display stands and handboards to support retailers, alongside new lifestyle photography to inspire consumers to style their home with Patterned Tiles.

Available from March/April 2022.
