Norcros Adhesives, manufacturer of tiling adhesives, grouts and surface preparation products, has moved its digital communication to the next phase by introducing a new state-of-the-art website.
The new site combines technical effectiveness with ease of use and aesthetical appeal. An immediate impression is created when visiting the site at www.norcros-adhesives.co.uk by the video background, which shows manufacturing processes and reinforces the Norcros positioning as a quality British manufacturer.
The full corporate video is prominently linked from the homepage, from where there are also easy-to-follow links to key customer segments – architects, distributors, fixers and home owners. Clicking on each button takes visitors to the site directly to information which is most relevant to their particular market. This includes information on all the products which are relevant to their sector, but it also features a lot more besides.
The section of the site for architects, for instance, features the NBS Plus Specification Generator, CPD videos, a number of ‘How To’ guides and also relevant case studies and news stories. The fixer section meanwhile includes a coverage calculator, additional ‘How To’ guides and ‘How To’ videos.
“We have set out to make our new website a lot more than just promotion for Norcros products,” says Mandy Searle, technical services manager at Norcros Adhesives. “We have aimed to build a resource which is of genuine benefit and interest to our key customer groups, providing important technical and support information for the industry as a whole. The website links to our social media channels, which together form the key elements of our digital communication strategy at Norcros Adhesives.”
In addition to the sector-specific information, the site also contains a tool to enable visitors to locate their nearest Norcros regional manager, as well as full details on all upcoming training courses being run by the company and a special section on sustainability, which is a key focus for Norcros Adhesives, which has now won the Tile Association Award for Best Environmental Initiative two years running.
From a technical point of view, the site meets all the latest web development standards and is fully mobile-compatible.
