On 1st September 2026, Headlam Group announced that its Board has resolved to file a notice of intention to appoint administrators and has suspended trading in its shares.
Against a market backdrop that continues to be challenging, after exploring alternative options, the company’s Board reportedly intends to appoint administrators from the financial advisory firm Interpath Ltd within 5 business days of this announcement.
This notice of intention to appoint administrators is also expected to be filed in respect of the Company’s subsidiary HFD Limited. However, the Company’s other subsidiaries – including Domus, Melrose and CECO – are unaffected by this process and continue to operate as normal.
Since it was acquired by Headlam Group in 2017, Domus Tiles Ltd and its specification project service has continued to be managed and operated in total separation to the wider Group’s distribution to retail model.
A representative of Domus Tiles Ltd has reassured Tilezine that its company is continuing operations and remains in a ‘strong position’, focusing firmly on delivering the ‘high level of service and reliable supply of materials that our customers have experienced for more than 50 years.’
