TTA TILING SHOW GOES FOR BIG EXPANSION IN ITS THIRD YEAR

Published 22nd October 2019 / Exhibitions

For 2020 The Tiling Show is back bigger and better than ever before.

TTA has acted on feedback from exhibitors and visitors, meaning The Tiling Show – to be held on Friday 27 March from 10am to 4pm – will undoubtedly be the best ever.

To give the event the space to breathe that you have requested and the space to grow in future, it is being held in a bigger hall next year – the Kings Suite at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. There are many other improvements at the Show for the coming year – and, despite being a bigger space, 40% of the stand space is already sold – a testament to the success and reputation of the Show in its first two years

Companies who are thinking of exhibiting are advised to book their space immediately. You will be joining the big brands already signed up, including Verona, BAL, Lithofin, No More Ply, Norcros Adhesives, Weber, Jackoboard and many more.

For companies in the tiling business, this will be one exhibition of the year that you really need to attend.

For visitors too, there will be further enhancements in 2020. Following feedback over the last two years, all visitors will be entitled to four hours free car parking right outside the Exhibition hall, subject to availability. Complimentary tea and coffee will also be available to visitors and exhibitors throughout the day of the Show.

We are additionally running a couple of special attractions for fixers and contractors – if you pre-register and attend, you will be able to claim a complimentary goody bag containing really useful products from exhibitors at the Show.

If you’re a fixer or contractor we would also encourage you to sign up by the end of November, and your name will go into a draw for a great prize of an exciting one-day driving experience.

Full details of this and other information relating to the Tiling Show will be on the website at www.thetilingshow.org

The Show is open for all to visit and last year we welcomed visitors from all sectors of the industry – independent fixers, major tiling contractors, retailers and architects. Feedback from visitors and exhibitors was overwhelmingly positive. For example Martin Mallon of Armatile said: “We had a good visit to the Show and it was really good to catch up with everyone again.”

Meanwhile David Lyman, Sales and Marketing Director at BAL, said: “The Tiling Show was a fantastic event which showcased the best that the tiling industry has to offer. We were delighted to be able to attend and exhibit our latest products and innovations as well as seeing many faces – old and new.”

According to Mandy Searle, Head of Technical Services at Norcros Adhesives: “The Show had a real buzz about it and it was definitely worth being there, with a good footfall, good networking opportunities and some important customers calling in on the stand.”

As well as exhibitors’ stands, the Show will also once again feature a popular product demonstration area.

All TTA members are eligible to exhibit. TTA Awards Gold sponsors are automatically entitled to space at the Show. Any other members wishing to exhibit have the choice of:

  • 2 x 1 metre space for just £100 + VAT. This includes a trestle table, suitable for a pull-up stand;
  • 4 x 1 metre space for just £200 + VAT (including trestle table).

As in previous years, all exhibitors are requested to have a special Show offer running on the day. Non-members are also welcome to exhibit, but they need to contact TTA first.

“The success of The Tiling Show so far demonstrates that it is meeting a real need for our members and the wider industry – a dedicated tiling exhibition at a cost-effective, central location,” says Paul Luff, TTA Chairman. “I am delighted that it is now established as a regular industry event. With the increase in space that we have this year and the number of leading exhibitors that we already have signed up, I am confident that 2020 is going to be the best yet. We look forward to welcoming you to The Tiling Show next March and trust that it will prove successful for you.”
