On 18-20 October, the NEC in Birmingham plays host to the UK’s largest gathering of construction professionals, UK Construction Week.

Consisting of nine shows – Timber Expo, Build Show, Civils Expo, Plant & Machinery Live, Energy 2016, Smart Buildings 2016, Surface & Materials Show, HVAC 2016 and Grand Designs Live (19-20 October only) – UK Construction Week will boast more than 10,000 products from over 650 exhibitors.

There’s a packed programme of seminars. The UK Construction Week Main Stage will play host a series of current debates related to the world of construction. Chairing these talks will be architect and TV presenter George Clarke; TV broadcaster and journalist Steph McGovern and news presenter Victoria Fritz (pictured above).

Lee Newton, chief executive of event organisers Media 10, said: “As the largest event dedicated to knowledge sharing, championing good practice and problem solving, UK Construction Week is the environment for the whole industry to look, talk, plan, learn and do business; providing answers for what, when, where and how we build our future. Research proves that the biggest attraction for visitors is the vast number of products and diverse range of services on offer. There is no other construction event that can compete at this level.”
