CEVISAMA CONFIRMS DELAY TO JUNE 2022

Cevisama, the international ceramics and bathroom equipment trade fair organised by Feria Valencia, has confirmed that the next Show is being pushed back four months to June 2022.

The new dates will be 13 – 17 June, as decided by the Show’s organising committee after analysing the current situation, which continues to be badly affected by the pandemic throughout the world.

Despite the fact that there were high hopes for a successful Show on the original February dates and major exhibitors had committed to attend, the decision was taken to postpone.

“Our aim is for Cevisama to run successfully in terms of economic profitability for our clients and, of course, with the best possible health and safety guarantees. At the moment, this does not seem feasible,” stresses Carmen Álvarez, Cevisama’s director.

“We think that the scenario will be clearer in a few months’ time, with more favourable weather, international vaccination plans already completed and with more travel facilities for international visitors; that is why we are going to double our efforts so that from 13 to 17 June all professionals can celebrate the sector’s great reunion at Feria Valencia”, she assures.

When it does take place, Cevisama 2022 will bring together leading brands from the ceramics, bathroom and natural stone sectors, and will feature novelties such as “Cevisama Tech”, a new area that will showcase innovative and technology in the ceramics sector.

In addition, the Show will highlight Valencia’s designation as World Design Capital 2022 with a number of cultural activities running alongside the commercial showcase.

The last time the Show was held in February 2020, Cevisama brought together more than 800 firms and brands and was visited by 90,000 professionals, of which more than 21,000 were foreign visitors.
