Rogers Ceramics goes into voluntary liquidation

The TTA is sad to report that longstanding Association member Rogers Ceramics of Sussex is going into voluntary liquidation.

The company, which has retail outlets in Haywards Heath and Crawley, cites continuing difficult trading conditions as the reason for closing the business.

Rogers’ head office is in Crawley, where the company operates a 300 sq metre showroom, featuring a wide range of wall and floor tiles, displayed in inspirational lifestyle settings. The company was aiming to create a one-stop shop for bathroom refurbishment, including sanitaryware, showers and accessories, in addition to the core tiling ranges.

“It is always sad when a fellow business has to take the hard decisions which have faced the management of Rogers Ceramics,” says Ian Kershaw, chairman of the TTA. “This is especially true when it is a well-run business, which has tried hard to diversify and meet the challenge of difficult trading conditions. The TTA Board offers its sympathies.”
