TTA director Billy Valler and his son Max are cycling 500km from London to Paris between 9 and 12 September to raise funds for blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia.
Every penny raised will go towards funding specialist research nurses at 12 blood cancer centres across the UK. These form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network, giving patients from a catchment area of 20 miles access to pioneering and potentially life saving treatments through clinical trials. These trials save lives and also help hasten global progress towards eradicating all forms of this disease.
London 2 Paris: Inspiring The Revolution is Cure Leukaemia’s premier cycling event and will be taking place for the fifth time this year. It is a 4-day, 500km cycling event and is one of the only closed-road events of this kind taking place in the UK.
