Getting to and staying at Cersaie 2026

Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, continues to place great emphasis on the quality of the visitor experience. Alongside its extensive exhibition and conference programme, the event offers a comprehensive range of services, available on the official Cersaie website https://www.cersaie.it/en/v_pacchetti.php, designed to make travelling to the exhibition and staying in the area as easy and convenient as possible.

Transport

Thanks to Cersiae’s partnership with Fondazione Bologna Welcome, visitors can benefit from dedicated transport and accommodation solutions, including a wide range of special offers and preferential rates.

Complimentary shuttle services connect Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport and Bologna Centrale AV Carracci railway station. Departures from the airport coach park run every 30 minutes from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Return services from BolognaFiere operate between 9:00am and 12:00pm and 3:00pm and 6:00pm, also every 30 minutes. Shuttles to the train station operate every 30 minutes from 8:30am to 12:00pm, while return services depart from the Costituzione entrance between 5:00pm and 8:00pm.

Throughout the exhibition, Cersaie also provides a dedicated Trenitalia Tper train service departing early each morning from Reggio Emilia, with stops at Rubiera and Modena, arriving at BolognaFiere before the exhibition opens. The return journey follows the same route each evening.

Accommodation

To accommodate the high number of international visitors, Bologna offers almost 20,000 hotel rooms, complemented by more than 2,200 additional rooms in Imola and Modena. To meet growing demand, accommodation is also available in Ferrara, Rimini, Padua, Verona, Venice and Florence through specially negotiated hotel packages. These offers can be accessed via the hotel booking service managed by Fondazione Bologna Welcome, which provides preferential rates.

Visitors can choose one- or multi-night stays in three- or four-star hotels, with accommodation in single or double rooms, breakfast included and transfers provided. Packages also include return rail travel (Intercity, Frecciarossa/Frecciargento services, regional trains to Ferrara or Italo services, depending on the destination), transfers between the railway station and the hotel, and shuttle connections from the station to BolognaFiere.

A dedicated package is also available for Reggio Emilia, including accommodation in a four-star hotel, High-Speed rail travel and shuttle transfers between Reggio Emilia railway stations and BolognaFiere.

ADI Awards are renamed the Cersaie Awards

The ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) Awards presented at Cersaie have been renamed. The two awards recognising the most innovative products on display at the exhibition and the best exhibition stand design are now called the ADI Cersaie Design Award and the ADI Exhibit Design Award, reaffirming their role in promoting the design quality and culture that define the exhibition.

The inclusion of the Cersaie name in the awards’ titles strengthens the distinctive identity of honours that have established their authority within the design world over the years. This evolution reflects the role the awards now play within the exhibition and is intended to make them more immediate, recognisable and consistent with the international context in which they are presented.

As participation has steadily expanded to include companies, designers and professionals from an increasingly diverse range of sectors, a new name has been adopted that more clearly communicates the purpose and significance of the awards. This decision also reflects the evolution of Cersaie itself, which has progressively embraced new product categories and a broader variety of design approaches, placing the value of design and its ability to express quality, innovation and research at the heart of the exhibition.
