The Tile Association held its annual Golf Day at The Windmill Village Golf Club, Warwickshire, on Wednesday 6th May, and a great time was had by all! The day started off with coffee and bacon rolls at 10am followed shortly after by a shotgun start. The 18-hole par-72 championship golf course hosted participants excellently.
The main sponsor of the event was Pro Tiler Tools, a ‘one stop tile tool shop’.

A variety of great prizes were available to win, and TTA’s congratulations go out to all the winners.
Scoring 45 points, Mark Rahman earned 1st place in the individual competition. With 44 points each, second and third place were closely decided by a count back. 2nd place was secured by Paul McQuaid (W.B Simpson & Sons Ltd) 3rd place was gained by Darren Wickens (DMC Contracts Ltd).
The team prize was won by Intceram, collecting an impressive total score of 102 points.
The two nearest to the pin winners were Will Dolling (Genesis Global Systems Ltd) on the 16th hole and Josh Jinks (Instarmac Group plc – UltraTile) on the 13th hole, landing just one foot away.
The longest drive was won by Sean Flanagan (W.B Simpson & Sons Ltd, Midlands).
£260 was also raised for the Lighthouse Charity through mulligans, supporting its goal of providing emotional, physical and financial support to construction workers and their families.
The prize giving ceremony offered the chance to celebrate the winners of the day. Terry Clare accepted Paul McQuaid’s award and Julian Myles accepted Will Dolling’s award on their behalves.
