GETTING EDUCATED ON SUSTAINABLE TILING

Published 6th November 2025 / General

As the world looks to COP30, the UN’s annual Climate Change Conference taking place this year in Belém from 10th–21st November, TTA is reminded of its vision to create a more sustainable future in the tiling industry.

Taking a leading role in achieving sustainability in the tiling sector, in collaboration with some of its members TTA has produced a series of case studies to inspire sustainable action. Manufacturer and distributor Nicholls & Clarke Group, contractor Telling (Finishings) Ltd and retailer Topps Group have all demonstrated how they are committed to sustainability in their sectors, setting examples across the industry. These are now available on its ‘Ways to Be More Sustainable’ website page.

TTA also encourages further education by taking advantage of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, an award-winning virtual learning platform around sustainability aiming to upskill those involved in the built environment sector with over 50,000 members.
