How did you get into the tiling industry?
I transitioned from plumbing into bathroom installation, which led me into tiling and the creative aspect of the work.

What do you like most about your job?
Modern day advanced tiling has many technical aspects to it which I enjoy the challenge of. The industry is constantly developing new products that give me different ideas for how to add special details to my installations. Giving the client the end results they dream of and knowing it’s a quality, durable installation is very rewarding.

Why did you become a member of The Tile Association?
To be supported in continued professional development and be part of a professional tiling community.

What region do you work in?
Birmingham and the West Midlands.

What types of installations do you provide?
Bathroom installations and large format tiling, including steam room and wetrooms.

What changes have you experienced since becoming a Master Tile Fixer?
Clients feel more trust in the service we provide knowing we are accredited and recognised by The Tile Association for offering a service to industry standards.

What tiling project are you most proud of?
I am most proud of all my projects. Each project demonstrates my development as a tiler and my own creative influence on the specification. Each of my projects is designed around the customer’s personality and their requirements, and so they are unique.
