Confindustria Ceramica elects president with 99% of the votes

The Confindustria Ceramica assembly, elected Augusto Ciarrocchi as President of the Association for the two-year period 2024–2025 with 99% of the votes. The Vice Presidents Vittorio Borelli, Luigi Di Carlantonio, Giorgio Romani, Alberto Selmi and Graziano Verdi were also elected.

Augusto Ciarrocchi, born in Civita Castellana in 1960, after graduating in law from the University of Perugia, practiced law for four years. In 1986 he joined the Board of Directors of Ceramica Flaminia, where in 1990 he held the role of Manager of the legal and administrative area, becoming Managing Director in April 1999 and, from September of the same year, President of the Board of Directors and General Manager.

Since 1994 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Civita Castellana Ceramic Center – of which he held the position of president for 11 years, until 2019 – and was Councillor of the Tuscia Energia Provincial Consortium in the four-year period 2000–2004. He was President of the Ceramics Section of Unindustria Rome, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti and Viterbo (2012–2020) and member of the Technical Committee for the Protection of Made in Italy and the fight against counterfeiting of Confindustria (2012–2019). From 2018 until today he has been Vice President of Confindustria Ceramica.

Ceramica Flaminia was founded in 1955 in Civita Castellana and produces ceramic sanitary ware exclusively in Italy. The company applies the sector’s 4.0 technical standards within a production cycle carried out in the name of eco-sustainability and the circular economy. Collaborating with the most important internationally renowned designers, the company works on the innovation of the bathroom environment. Technical and formal research make the Flaminia brand one of the witnesses of ‘Italian know-how’ in the world. The company currently successfully exports to more than 70 countries with a total turnover of approximately 24 million euros and employs 126 specialised employees.
