The results of the 2020 TTA Awards will be announced on 16 October – not long to wait!
The event will be going ahead in a digital format – please keep an eye on the Awards website at www.ttaawards.com for full information, and also check out TTA Awards social media on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. We hope that as many people as possible will be able to participate in our Awards event on the 16th.
The change in format will not lead to any reduction in the level of promotion that sponsors, finalists and winners receive around the Awards. This will take place digitally via social media, email and PR. There will also be extensive coverage of the winners in the November issue of TSJ and also in other print publications after the Awards.
Throughout the pandemic TTA has adapted to new ways of working digitally, with increased use of digital communications and holding meetings online. This expertise is now being used to ensure that all stakeholders in the upcoming Awards can continue to derive maximum benefit from them, whether they are sponsors, Award winners or guests.
All those who purchased tickets for the original event, which was due to be held back in March, will have their tickets moved to 2021 and TTA is grateful to them for their patience and understanding. TTA is also grateful to The Hilton Birmingham Metropole for their support during this difficult time. It is hoped that it will be possible to announce a date for the 2021 Awards at the same venue in due course.
The Tiling Show will not be taking place this year, and all stand space which has been paid for will be fully refunded. The Golf Day will also not be taking place this year and the cost of any tickets which have been purchased will also be refunded.
TTA would once again like to thank all Gold Sponsors of the 2020 Awards. They are: Banks & Lloyd, Jackoboard, Mapei, Norcros Adhesives, Palace Chemicals, PCS, Shackerley (Holdings) Group Ltd., Tilemaster Adhesives, Trimline Group, UltraTileFix and Verona.
“We apologise again for the delay and the changes to the format of the Awards this year, but I think everyone understands this is inevitable in the current situation,” says Rebecca Talbot, Chair of the General Purposes & Marketing Committee. “The changes we are making this year do not in any way detract from the achievement of all our winners in all categories. I would like to thank all those who took the trouble to enter the TTA Awards.
“I especially want to reassure all our sponsors that we are determined to ensure that the new online format means that they will continue to get maximum benefit from their sponsorship. Without the support of our Gold sponsors each year, the TTA Awards could not happen – and they should be proud of the fact that their involvement represents support for achievement and excellence in our industry – thank you again.”
Login details and other information relating to the online Awards event on 16 October will be made available in due course.
