CITB UPDATE ON SUPPORT FOR CARILLION WORKERS

Published 21st February 2018 / General

The CITB has issued an update regarding the support it is offering to Carillion apprentices and the wider Carillion workforce and supply chain.

The CITB is offering incentives to employers to take on Carillion apprentices. These include:

  • An adoption grant of £1000 will be paid to those employers who adopt a Carillion apprentice. The grant will be paid in 2 parts – £500 on sign up and £500 after 3 months
  • A standard attendance grant will be paid on the basis that if a learner is in the first, second or third year, regardless of their progress in that year, they will receive the remainder of the attendance grant for that year
  • All achievement grants will be payable on full framework achievement.

More information on CITB grants can be found at: citb.co.uk/carillionsupport or by calling 0344 994 4010 (England) or 0300 456 8784 (Scotland). Email: carillionapprenticeshipsupport@citb.co.uk

The CITB is also supporting former Carillion employees and their supply chain associates by giving them access to a newly created jobs board, hosted on the CITB website. Employers are being encouraged to advertise relevant job opportunities, using this facility.
