On 8th September, The Tile Association (TTA) will be hosting its first-ever TTA Race Day for tiling professionals, at the same time as homeowners and DIYers across the UK will be encouraged to visit their local tile stores this National Tile Day.
Through these events, TTA is facilitating networking opportunities across the tiling sector, connecting suppliers and customers, and honouring the creativity, craftsmanship and innovation of the UK tiling industry together.
Showcasing tiles this National Tile Day
To celebrate National Tile Day, tile retailers and distributors across the country will be celebrating the beauty and versatility of tiles with a host of in-store activities, including promotions, offers, inspiring displays and expert advice to help homeowners bring their ideas to life. Through this event, TTA aims to help you drive local visitors to your stores.
National Tile Day provides new opportunities for potential customers to discover how tiles are a smart choice for everyday living, combining everyday practicality with year-round comfort. Their excellent thermal properties can help retain warmth in winter while keeping rooms feeling cooler in summer – a welcome benefit as temperatures rise. Bringing industry colleagues together for TTA Race Day
TTA Race Day 2026 will take place at Leicester Racecourse, bringing members and industry colleagues together for an afternoon of racing, hospitality and networking. With 90+ attendees signed up, it promises to be a great day.
Tickets are priced at £99+VAT for TTA members and £129+VAT for non-members. Guests will receive:
- VIP admission to the racecourse
- A two-course hot fork buffet
- Opportunities to network with industry colleagues
