It was a brand new launch for ExpoTile 2026, formerly known as The Tiling Show, on 5th June at Hilton Birmingham Metropole. The UK’s only trade show devoted to tiles and tiling products brought the industry together with fresh visual branding and the support of a new sponsor, NoMorePly Boarding Systems. 50 exhibitors and a record-breaking number of attendees confirm the show’s ever-growing momentum as an ‘unmissable’ opportunity for visitors and exhibitors to connect.
From mini golf to Star Wars, free prizes to tool demonstrations, ExpoTile’s stands had a wealth of attractions for visitors to enjoy. A key development for 2026 was the increased focus on UK tile distribution, growing the exhibition’s value for a retailer audience. The showcase of UK tile brands included names such as 550 Interiors, Craft Ceramics, Distribution Supplies Ltd, N&C Tiles & Bathrooms, the Silver Lion Trading Company, Tile Space and Verona Group.

ExpoTile was also generously supported by Tile of Spain, featuring exciting tile collections from ADEX, Baldocer, DECOCER, DUNE, Estudio Cerámico, ETILE and Peronda. The ‘Spanish Sips and Bites’ hour hosted food and drinks for convivial networking. ExpoTile is the only UK trade show which brings together so many leading tile distributors, domestically and internationally, to inspire new designs and strengthen supply chains.
As the event organiser, The Tile Association (TTA) used the show’s public platform to spotlight the Trainee Tile Fixer of the Year 2026 TTA Award through a prize-giving ceremony. The winner Luca Dennis of Balderton Tile Centre Ltd received a variety of prizes worth £3,500 collectively provided by exhibitors at the Show.

Additionally, ExpoTile hosted TTA’s AGM, enabling member participation in reflection of how TTA values member feedback in steering its priorities and setting its agenda. A key action was the decision to modernise its Memorandum and Articles of Association, demonstrating TTA is committed to evolving in service to the sector.
The Lighthouse Charity and Children Today both exhibited, as well as benefiting from TTA Awards’ charity fundraiser later that evening – which raised an impressive £6,345 thanks to the generosity of all donations and auction participants. BEWI and Pro Tiler Tools also led independent initiatives to raise funds for the Lighthouse Charity, supporting its important work to build a stronger, healthier construction industry.
ExpoTile 2026’s sponsor NoMorePly Boarding Systems is a brand of premium fibre cement construction boards designed to provide a strong, moisture-resistant foundation for floors and walls, part of family-owned construction material business STS Ltd. The NoMorePly Rewards Programme also provides rewards for every purchase of NoMorePly products, ideal for regular customers to save costs and gain access to special offers. NoMorePly has a mission to ‘deliver modern construction boarding solutions for walls, floors and roofs that are trusted by the end user and empower profitable growth for distributors.’
Exhibitors confirm the relaunch of ExpoTile was a huge success:
‘Having grown up in the world of tiling, ExpoTile is of all importance to keep us grounded to our roots, focused on the end-user, and ensuring we are able to exceed our distribution partners’ needs, and this year was exceptional. From quality installers to trainee apprentices and some of the biggest distribution partners in the industry, the event was packed with action, great conversation and of course a good few laughs.’
Vince Marsh, Key Account Director at NoMorePly Boarding Systems
‘ExpoTile once again demonstrated the strength and collaboration of the tiling industry. It provided a valuable opportunity for our team to meet with installers, customers, and industry partners, while celebrating the event’s exciting new identity. We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to collaborate, innovate, and support one another.’
Steve Ball, Commercial Director at Palace Chemicals
‘The quality of visitors, networking opportunities, and industry-focused content reflected TTA’s commitment to supporting and advancing the tiling sector. I was very impressed to see so many people attend and would like to thank everyone for their support and engagement throughout the event. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was great to catch up with so many familiar faces while making new connections. We are already looking forward to next year.’
Adam Newton-Smith, Ceramic Training Manager at Mapei UK Ltd
‘As a first time exhibitor at ExpoTile we found the whole experience very beneficial. We not only got to meet some of our existing customers but we also got to meet potential new ones too – a great result! Alongside this, it was a good opportunity to network with colleagues in the whole industry.’
James Sirett, Director at the Silver Lion Trading Company
