The results are in and SkillBuild is proud to announce the talented individuals who have secured a place at this year’s SkillBuild National Final – the UK’s largest and longest-running construction skills competition.
After impressing judges at the Regional Qualifiers and beating out stiff competition, these finalists have demonstrated outstanding technical ability, attention to detail and a real passion for their chosen trade.
The finalists for the Wall & Floor Tiling category are:

- Harvey Greaves – Leeds College of Building
- Nicholas Bennison – Royal Engineers
- Travis Huntley – Cardiff and Vale College
- Alex Ainley – Cardiff and Vale College

The SkillBuild National Final 2025 will take place on 19th-20th November at Arena MK in Milton Keynes, bringing together the best construction trainees from across the UK to compete at the highest level.
Visiting the National Final is completely free and open to everyone. You can also experience what working in construction is really like with skill-based challenges, interactive activities, hands-on demonstrations and more. The Tile Association (TTA) will be hosting its own ‘have a go’ demonstration stand, helping to educate prospective trainees and apprentices on the benefits of a tiling career.
